Like so many of our foreign couples, I met these two in person for the first time just a few days before their wedding. I had a sense that they would be a lot of fun from the emails we’d sent back and forth. Meeting them confirmed my suspicion and I knew their wedding day was going to be a blast!
We started the day with their ceremony which was in a local Squamish church where the groom’s dad had the privilege of helping officiate the ceremony. They loved the idea of capturing the beauty of our majestic forests and we planned to get our feet a little bit wet for some spectacular shots at Shannon Falls.
Their decor at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre was so unique! When their planners, Sea to Sky Celebrations, couldn’t find the perfect centrepieces for these world travellers, they made mini suitcases themselves. The coloured glass candle holders sparkled beautifully in the sunlight as they enjoyed a lovely and intimate dinner with close family and friends.
