This wedding had such a relaxed and friendly vibe. Anyone willing to dig their freshly painted toes into the beach sand or let the wind tussle their recently styled hair is going to bring wonderfully positive energy to their wedding day!
Amy and Jeff made sure their wedding reflected them in so many ways. It was so nice to see how they incorporated lots of personal details. The bride worked so hard on all of them and the groom had an important role too – building the Gelato stand at their Furry Creek ceremony site and making a giant Jenga set to keep guests entertained, just to mention a few. Asking a close friend to officiate the ceremony made the day so much more personal too.
The bride and groom had some special places in Squamish they wanted to incorporate into their photos, so we started early that day to give us time to hike into the forest. It was so worth it! We found some amazing light and the perfect spot for their first look. The groom’s reaction was so genuine it brought me to tears.
